This is my gallery of digital artwork. Ranging from 3D stills and animation, to digital manipulation of found images, this represents some of the various skills that I have practiced over the years.

Digital Images

Cherry Tree Scroll

This is a series of scrolls that I did in my Introduction to Computer Art class. They were done in photoshop, and depict the lifespan of a Cherry Tree.
This is a picture I did in which I had a very damaged photograph, but was able to use Photoshop to correct the damage.

This is a picture I did of Tiara from the anime Shamanic Princess. I highly recommend it BTW, very dark, but also very beautifully orchestrated. Great music too. I did this piece in two to emphasis Tiara's dual nature, the peaceful, childlike side on the left, and the demonic, destructive side on the right.
This is an image I did when given the task of taking two photos and merging them in a way that alters a historical event. I put John Kennedy's face into a moon astronaught's helmet. I figured that this was an interesting play on the photo, since Kennedy jump-started the Lunar landing program, but died prior to it's completion.

Shockwave Files

This is a simple animation cycle of a squid in the sea.
This is a simple Director game which plays Paper-Rock-Scissors.
This is a futurist painting that I made do some interesting stuff.
This is a small bamboo forest. It's a mini-game, based on an old Japanese legend.

3D Animation

This is a robot arm that I had to animate. I actually had to do an animation in which I had to pick up that red cylinder with my arm, and interact with it. In this case, my arm speared it with a needle, and then injected a green fluid into it.

Size: 4.2mb

This is a 3D model of a gas station that was near my house. It has an incredibly low poly count, and yet looks photorealistic. This thing actually can be moved around in real time with no slowdown. This could be used in an evironment for a video game or something.

Here is a link to a still image of the model as well: Gas Station.

Size:1mb

This is a 3D head that I modeled for the purposes of lipsynching it to audio. I based the head on J. Scott Campbell's character Abby Chase, since he had some great front and side view shots of her in his Danger Girl Sketchbook. The voice that I chose to animate it to might be recognizable as Willow, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as played by Alyson Hannigan. I just thought that it matched up too well with the goals of the project to pass up

Size: 2.5mb

This is a short little piece made to mimic the Balinese shadow play, but with modern sensibilities.I did it in After Effects using many different layers.

Size: 4.5mb

This is a small animation of a ninja jumping. It loops, and the background paralaxes.

Size: 3.2mb

This is a short lip-synch animation that I made using flat polygonals in Maya. It's synched to two voice clips of Audrey Hepburn that I spliced together, and I think it's rather humerous.

Size: 1.9mb

These are the projects for my advanced 3D animation classes. I have several other projects to put up, but I need to clear off some space first for that. Most of this stuff was done in Maya, the rest in After Effects.

3D Models

Abby chase

This is a continuation of the Voice Synch project above, modeling the full body of the character. I did it using nurbs in Maya, and converted it down to a polygon form.

Dragon Slayer

This is a quick model I did of Gatt's Dragon Slayer sword from the anime Berserk. It took the better part of an afternoon, but I think it looks pretty good.

Kursarigama

This is a weapon I made for an animation project. It converts from a long knife into a kama with an extendable chain, and I used Maya's constraints to make it so that it transforms quickly and easilly. It's like a little virtual toy.

These are various models that I've done in my spare time, some of them being offshoots of previous projects.
